Angela's passion lies in making things move, she heads up the digital side of Design By Day, producing video and animated work, designing websites, and working alongside our ever expanding network of collaborators.

Before starting up Design By Day, Angela worked at award winning digital agency Bubble. Producing moving image based work and designing websites for clients such as Playstation, Wrangler, JD Sports and Urban Splash.

Angela set up Design By Day with a passion for collaboration and a means of providing a real alternative to larger design agencies.

An ex Salford Student, Angela has also been known to do the odd spot of teaching on Salford University's Design for Digital Media BA course.

Whilst mainly being invoved in the digital side of things, every once in a while she rolls up hers sleeves to do something crafty, loving a bit of screen printing and occasional bit of drawing.

Louise Gardner
Creative Director

Adept in establishing brands and conceiving logos, Louise looks after the print and branding side of Design By Day. Her genuine passion, knowledge of print processes and ability to analyse a clients needs, makes her an invaluable asset to the studio.

Before setting up Design by Day Louise spent a number of years as a designer at Liverpool based studio, Nonconform. Focussing her practice in areas of branding and design for print, she produced work for client's such as The Bluecoat, LARC (Liverpool Arts Regeneration Consortium) and Liverpool Hope University.

Studying at Salford University, Louise always had a passion for print, although initially leaned more towards illustration before realising the surprising excitement and satisfaction she got from creating brand identities. That said, she still loves getting stuck into a bit of illustration work when the right project comes along.

Louise is also an experienced web designer, with the versatility to apply her skills and knowledge to any project.
